The Maze from Zaetha Watiki level 68 Fae Warlock
The call rang out for several days, "Come one come all and visit our amazing guild." Reviews poured in from various characters, all evil aligned, how awesome this new play land was. The fact that all the reviews were coming from necros and shadowknights didn't really concern me, considering the guild was deep in the heart of evil aligned Freeport. I was now sporting a level 68. Seeing how their warlocks come to Qeynos and attack the guards, I figured I was relatively safe. I arrived in the Commonlands with little problem, the skyline was beautiful on this clear evening. I arrived at the front gate. Petronax smiled a wicked smile as I approached. She was more than happy to take my bribe, and let me enter into the front gate. "Have a nice time." she issued out sweetly, then erupted into evil laughter. I walked into West Freeport thinking this would be a piece of Tikiwa's famous peach cheesecake. "They don't grow them much stupider than they do in Qeynos." Thuz Brainbasher stood in wait, as his partner began to attack me from the left. "Oh please tell me you didn't think you could just walk right in here." Otacilla Opolio couldn't believe I had walked in the gate. "I know you have this one." Thuz said as he leaned back to watch. "I'm going to send you to the Graveyard, Qeynosian!" Otacilla raised her blade. I had other plans than being beaten by a bunch of turncoats, so I turned and ran away. I could hear Petronax's laughter echoing as I left. I was defeated but determined, something Otacilla said rang in my ears. "The Graveyard" I rushed quickly to the Freeport Graveyard, and Viola! I was in. I had to take a photo of the event, but while I was snapping shots I was spotted. I decided to move along and make my way inside town. Pona was very helpful after 2 plat, she told me exactly how to sneak in past the guards and make it to the guild halls. The path was not without peril. Loyal Freeportians took every opportunity to shout at the top of their lungs, hoping to attract the guards. After sneaking past many guards and their dogs I finally made it to my destination, the Freeport Docks. Finding the guild house was not easy and there was no one willing to help me here no matter what the price. Eventually I was successful The place was set up like an amusement park. The ticket taker handed me a book. A book that lead me to another book that read one way in..one way out. I regret my camera's do not work past this point, there was some form of magical field. However I entered the maze, and I wandered through illusions and into walls. Mirrors distracted me, and it was a never ending madness. It was then I realized, the maze was a trap. I would wander this maze till I died from hunger and thirst. I just ported out, being the warlock that I am. But I bring with me the warning, "Fellow Qeynosians BEWARE Freeport Citizens HATE you!" |

From Zaetha Watiki Level 58 Fae Warlock
I didn't want the qeynos guards to see this note... I was remarking to Tikiwa the other day about how awful Antonica looks since the void beasts have arrived. When one of Qeynos finest overheard me and said. "why a powerful warlock such as yourself should be no match for these void beasts. you should join the fight and be rid of them for good." I replied, "Oh I wouldn't want to steal any of the thunder from the great Qeynosian Guard. I'll leave it in your more than capable hands." To which he glared at me, saluted and walked off. I replied to Tikiwa, "Since when did the Qeynos guard start saluting with one finger?" |

a letter from Everquest 2 -
See what the Zombie started?
By Zaetha Watiki Level 58 Fae Warlock
I snuck behind enemy lines to break into Fallen Gate for the Zombie Lore and Legend. Seeing how I am Warlock, and being the avid book collector I am. While I was running around looking for it, I found a quest for the book The Blood of the Bear. How could I resist? So off to the ruins of Varsoon I went, it was grueling and time consuming. I sat in the forge area waiting on Forge Embers to pop, thinking how I wished I had one of those message in a bottle charms to send you a note of this adventure, but I had none. I glanced over at Xarthon, my familar, who sat panting trying to catch a moments breath on the Anvil of the Brute.
Finally the quest was done, and I raced to the Thundering Steppes Dock. With all the power I had left in me I ran towards the boat. Just as I entered the boat, the Harbormaster cried, "28 seconds to departure to Butherblock."
Upon arrival I ran to Lesser Fay to the Nybright camp and looked at the BlackMarket, to send you this from Everfrost. Alas... to send a message via bottle you must be level 70... i am but 58. I'll send an S.O.S. to the world... But not til i'm 70 apparently.

Just Another Qeynos Saturday Afternoon
Cilla Watiki level 25 Dwarf Templar Isce is a half elf Gaurdian I met outside Qeynos. He being a warrior and I being a cleric, we hit it off pretty good. After a short spell of killing gnolls, i decided to drop by the Frontier Farm and see my old pal Landwyn Velamir. Landwyn being a high elf, had just what we were looking for. After finding a nice secluded spot in Archers Woods we lit up. After we were fully ready to tackle our next adventure, we moseyed down to Blackburrow. There the gnolls heroically handed us our asses back with a snarl, and a stern warning not to "come round here no mo". So we straggled back to Qeynos where Gray and Dawson Magnificent were performing in front of the claymore statue. "Gray dates froglocks!" I shouted to the crowd, as Isce mooned the lilac wearing performer. I walked over to Dawson and said I knew how he could earn some money performing, if you get my meaning. One of the Qeynos guards leaned in as he passed by on his patrol route. "Why don't you lot go move to Neriak, where you'll feel more at home." |
